What is a family invitational intervention?

Arise I ntervention model

ARISE is a family

oriented method of Addiction Intervention

mobilize

families and friends to help the addicted person get started in

treatment.

Unlike other intervention

forms

, the ARISE intervention

does not use the

element of surprise. The family

comes together to

invite the addicted

person to the intervention. Respect

for the

addict in this way

helps one

voluntarily enter treatment. Research shows that when an addict goes

into

recovery without help from the family, they

only

have a 5% chance of

long

term

success. Those

statistics

ump

to 80%

when

the family is involved.

With support and love of the family and the accountability to the family the

lives

of everyone change rapidly. Once the addicted person has started in

self-

help or treatment, the ARISE Interventionist

can

remain involved with

you and

with

your family throughout the treatment process and

will

lead the

family on

long term recovery

path
